Overview

What You're Getting.

Most trees aren't 'too big' — they're untrained. Proper structural pruning early on creates trees that live longer, fail less, and look right against the house. Done wrong, you get topped stubs, suckers, and rot. Berserker does not top trees. Our crews follow ANSI A300 industry standards on every job in Richland, Kennewick, and across the Tri-Cities.

Included In Every Job
  • Crown thinning & crown reduction
  • Deadwood removal & hazard pruning
  • Structural pruning on young trees
  • Building, roof & driveway clearance

  • Fruit tree pruning (winter & summer cuts)
Why Berserker

The Standard We Hold.

01
ANSI A300 Standards
Industry-standard cuts at the branch collar. No flush cuts, no topping, no stub work.
02
Trees Live Longer
Proper pruning means stronger structure, less storm damage, less rot — the tree thanks you for the next 30 years.
03
Climbed, Not Hacked
Our climbers move through the canopy with rope and saddle. They see what a ground crew can't.
04
Clean Lines
Pruned trees should look untouched, just lighter. Shape preserved, hazard gone.

How It Goes

Simple Steps. Clean Job.

03
Climb & Prune
Climber works top-down. Every cut at the branch collar, every time.
04
Chip & Clean
Brush chipped on site or hauled. Lawn blown clean.
Questions

Frequently Asked.

Still wondering? Call us — we'd rather answer the phone than write essays.

(509) 410-7904
Will you top my tree to make it shorter?

No. Topping is the worst thing you can do to a tree — it creates weak regrowth and rot. We use crown reduction instead, which lowers height while preserving structure.

When is the best time to prune trees in the Tri-Cities?

Most species prune best in late winter while dormant. Oaks should not be pruned April–July (oak wilt window). We'll tell you what's right for your tree.

Do I need to be home?

Not required. We'll walk the property with you ahead of time, mark what's coming off, and you can review photos when we finish.
