Signs Of Bark Beetle Damage In Ponderosa Pine
Native Ips, western pine, and red turpentine beetles are active across Spokane County, and hot dry summers have increased activity. Infested trees don't recover, and they become both a fall hazard and a fire hazard.

Popcorn-sized yellowish or white sap nodules on the trunk where beetles bored in.

We are not an insurance adjuster and we do not handle, negotiate, or file claims. We supply the assessment and the estimate only.
Do I need a permit to remove a tree on my property in Spokane?+
Removals on private residential property generally don't require a permit. Work on trees in the public right-of-way does require a City of Spokane public tree permit and must be done by a licensed commercial tree service. We'll tell you which situation applies to your tree.
How fast can you get out here?+

Once beetles have girdled the cambium the tree can't recover. Healthy neighboring trees can sometimes be protected — our crew assesses that on site.
